Weekly Gatherings
The purpose of weekly gatherings is to provide a safe place for relationships to grow and faith to deepen. Youth need a regular opportunity to connect with each other and with adult volunteers/mentors, and Sunday School and Confirmation are meant to fill that need. This is the place where lives are enriched and transformed!

"TnT" Sunday School —9:45-10:45
"Talk n Treats" Sunday mornings in the Luther House Basement is a great time to catch up with other middlers and some wonderful adult mentors. The Talk topics are related to the subject we covered on the previous Tuesday night, so if you can't make it to Confirmation, come Sunday morning for a "mini" version.

AAA023.JPG Confirmation
Tuesday Nights, Central Lutheran Church is the place to be and to bring your friends. This is not the same ol' Confirmation (i.e. boring) your parents went through; this Confirmation is fun, fast paced, interactive and well worth your time. Videos, games, discussion, choice time activities, small groups, multi-media… we're cramming the evening full of interesting stuff! Beginning in Fall 2011, we’ll be using the Re:form curriculum, so each Tuesday we’ll explore a faith question you’ve probably wondered about, be it about the Bible, Miracles, or the Holy Spirit. Make Tuesday nights at Central a priority—you'll be glad you did!

Confirmation will be held in the Luther House, Hooray! And our meeting time will begin at 5:30 sharp until 6:45! “Class” will only be 45 minutes (5:30-6:15), followed by small groups for 30 minutes while eating dinner in the Parish Hall (6:15-6:45), then you can join in Midweek games or the Alleluia Choir Practice (6:45-7:30) and everyone can play games from 7:30-8:00.

Throughout the year the Middlers enjoy lots of outings, service projects and festivities, from rafting the McKenzie River to snow days at Hoodoo, Trick or Treating for canned food, OLYO retreats and Confirmation Camp at Lutherwood. See the "Central Lutheran Middle School Youth Program Booklet for more details.
