Learning at Central Lutheran

worshipCentral offers a variety of classes that provide the tools you need to live a joy-filled, healthy life based on faith in Christ.

Sunday School: Sunday School is offered at Central every Sunday during the school year from 9:30 – 10:30 am for kids age 3 – 8th Grade. We also have a High School Forum: Coffee, Jesus that meets at the same time. Our Nursery is open from 8AM-Noon during the school year.

Program of Adult Christian Education (PACE)
The PACE Hour is Central’s equivalent of adult Sunday School and meets each Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. It provides forums and discussions of topics relating to aspects of the Christian faith. PACE adult learning opportunities have included community issues and our faith response, theological topics, and speakers or videos on a wide range of subjects.

“Welcome to Central” Classes
The “Welcome to Central” class, led by our Pastors several times through out the year, is an introduction and review of Lutheran and Christian faith. Designed to welcome those who desire to become members of Central, emphasis is placed on the special qualities of Central as a church home. Contact the church office if you are interested.

Chi Rho Lecture Series
Hosted by Central Lutheran Church, the Chi Rho Lecture Series has been an important contributor to interdenominational theological conversation in Eugene, Oregon since 1970. Each year a well-known Christian scholar is brought to Eugene to participate in several days of lectures and discussions. Call the church office for times and details. Also available: Chi Rho Lecture Series Archive website.
