Werckmeister III Temperament, first example of a large-scaled pipe organ in the USA with a "well-temperament."

Simple classically styled freestanding casework of fumed solid white oak at rear of nave, with bass pipes of Pedal Præstant 16 standing in separate "tromps" tower against wall at rear right of organ.

This organ has 28 stops on 43 ranks, with ca. 2058 pipes.

Dedication on 15 June 1970, played by David S. Boe, prof of organ at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and organist of the church.

This instrument is first large organ built by John Brombaugh & Co., founded in June 1968 at location in country southwest of Germantown, Ohio, builder's hometown.
