Worship Schedule and Details

Central's Sunday worship services consist of traditional worship, based heavily on the Lutheran Book of Worship, at 8:15 A.M. and 10:45 A.M. on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at both services, and nursery care is available as well. Nursery is available. Noon prayer is held in the chapel every Wednesday.

In the summer, the worship schedule is shifted slightly; traditional worship is at 9:00 A.M. and 10:45 A.M.. For the church seasons of Advent, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, there are services at other times as well.

Central's Mission Statement

  • Loving: We have received Christ's love for us and wait to reflect that love to others. Love is expressed in the sharing of positive caring deeds that maximize the use of our gifts for the sake of others.
  • Christians: We are followers of Jesus Christ.
  • Together: We are committed to coming together as a community in large and small groups for worship, education, nurture, fellowship, and service.
  • Praying: indicating our dependence on Jesus Christ through prayer as the critical communication linking us with God's presence and power.
  • Inviting: We want to be inclusive in the sense that we provide many entry points and need meeting ministries both for those outside and inside our fellowship. Being inviting is directed both externally and internally, and reflects an inviting attitude we have towards each other.
  • Growing: Numerical and spiritual growth. Growing in numbers but also all members growing and developing in their lives of faith.
  • Celebrating: A joyous positive attitude of celebration of worship and all other corporate activities, influenced by the joy we receive from Christ.
